Nurse Instructor Maternal Child

A top hospital just over the border from New York in Fairfield county, Connecticut is seeking a Clinical Nurse Instructor for their Maternal Child clinical area.\n\nGREAT hours with no weekends or overnights!\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate organization-wide nursing education programs.\n
• Lead and support onboarding and continuing education, including Nursing Orientation and Update Days.\n
• Facilitate positive collaboration among clinical staff, nursing leadership, and multidisciplinary teams.\n
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices and contribute to the development of educational strategy.\n\nQualifications\n
• Current RN license in Connecticut; BSN required, MSN preferred.\n
• 3–5 years of recent acute care experience in Labor & Delivery or Maternity.\n
• Prior teaching or clinical education experience required.\n
• Preferred : AHA NRP Instructor, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Instructor, and / or AHA ACLS / BLS / PALS Instructor certification.
