Job Title : Assembly Technician – 1st Shift

Location : Lancaster, NY

Salary Range : $17.00 to $18.00 / hour

Shift : 1st Shift (Full-Time)

Job Overview :

Parallel Employment Group is partnering with a customer in the Lancaster, NY area who is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assembly Technician to join our 1st shift team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for assembling parts and sub-assemblies with precision, following detailed instructions and procedures to ensure quality standards are met. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
  • Use templates and measurements to correctly position parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Examine and assemble connections and fastening parts accurately.
  • Report issues with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Production Supervisor.
  • Complete administrative tasks required for business or regulatory compliance.
  • Accurately document production and quality control forms.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels; order and verify supplies as needed.
  • Follow all departmental procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned within the scope of the assembly department.

Requirements

Education :

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience :

  • 1–2 years of experience in an assembly environment is required.
  • Skills :

  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint reading.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
