Track capital improvement projects, including partnering with operations and project management teams to monitor and capitalize projects timely Review invoices & supporting documentation for compliance with capitalization policy Assist in process improvements and automation of fixed asset reporting Support month-end close and financial reporting responsibilities Prepare account reconciliations and variance analyses for assigned areas. USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities :
Lease Accounting
- Day-to-day lease accounting for 150+ real estate locations in compliance with ASC842, including journal entries and review and processing of lease specific invoices
- Review new and modified lease agreements, alongside our Real Estate Department, to determine accounting treatment in accordance with ASC842
- Assist with ongoing maintenance and accuracy of the Company's lease accounting software platform (Visual Lease)
- Assist with external audit requests related to lease accounting
