Job Summary and Qualifications

Progressive care is one of the fastest-growing nursing specialties, focusing on acutely ill patients with complex healthcare needs. Here’s what you can expect :

About the Unit :

  • A 24-bed unit where RNs take pride in their work.
  • A fast-paced, passionate, team-oriented environment filled with critical thinkers.
  • A diverse patient population, including trauma, stroke, cardiac, and critical care cases.

    • Your Role :

  • Assess patient conditions during admission and each shift, reporting any changes.
  • Perform procedures as ordered by medical providers.
  • Document care administration in patient medical records promptly and thoroughly.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Stay knowledgeable about medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

    • What You’ll Need :

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma.
