We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a diverse range of events that align with our organization's goals and mission. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venues, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials.
- Create event timelines and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Oversee event logistics, including setup, execution, and teardown.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience as an event coordinator or similar role with a strong portfolio of successful events.Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by event schedules.Benefits
