Job Description Summary : Assistant / Associate Professor (tenure track) to teach courses in biomedical engineering and related areas, develop an active externally funded research program in biomedical engineering, advise undergraduate and graduate students, and provide service to the department, university, and profession. Candidates with expertise in all areas of biomedical engineering are welcome, but preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the fields of biomechanics , biomaterials, and medical device design. Proposed research programs focusing on aging, AI- utilization, and other emerging techniques will be given priority. Appointment begins August,2026.

Demonstrated research experience focused on aging-related application, AI utilization, or incorporating other cutting-edge methodology is important for both of these positions.

Minimum Requirements :
Required : Doctorate in Biomedical Engineering or related field by the date of appointment for appointment as an Assistant Professor. Appointment to the rank of Associate Professor requires an established record of teaching and research funding.
Consideration may be given to candidates with demonstrated research expertise that aligns with areas targeted for departmental growth.
