What You'll Do
Promptly room patients and collect vital signs, including weight, temperature, and blood pressure, along with other required information.
- Accurately enter patient data and clinical information into the Electronic Health Record.
- Accurately scan a variety of documents into the system
- Answer phone calls from patients, physicians, and facilities regarding clinical matters.
- Send medical transcriptions to referring providers via fax or mail, as needed.
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date medication sample stock and supplies.
Qualifications
Minimum education : High school diploma / GED required.Current Kansas Medical Assistant Certification (RMA and CMA) required.1-year ambulatory health care experience preferred.Special qualifications.Why Work for HMC?
