Estimated Weekly Salary Weekly Salary Range : $1,720 - $1,840 per week (estimated) Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Tuscaloosa, Alabama (35401) – Alabama nursing jobs Unit : Pulmonary Med / Surg Telemetry (36 beds) Assignment Length : 16 weeks (10 / 27 / 2025 – 2 / 14 / 2026) Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Shift : 12-hour days (07 : 00 – 19 : 00), every other weekend, holidays as required Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours per week available) Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Scrub Colors : Solid Navy Parking : On-site parking available EMR : Meditech Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or compact state (no temporary licenses accepted) Associate degree in nursing required American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification or Red Cross BLS Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; will consider candidates with 18 months of experience if at least 1 year is in Med / Surg Telemetry Experience with telemetry, respiratory patient care, and clinical support preferred Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, specialized nursing care to patients with lung diseases, respiratory conditions, and cardiac monitoring needs on a telemetry unit Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respiratory status for Med / Surg Telemetry patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy Maintain a safe nurse-to-patient ratio (1 : 6) to ensure effective patient care Document all patient care activities in the Meditech EMR system Float to other hospital units or facilities as required for clinical support Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
