The NYC Department of Probation (DOP) is a world leader in working creatively and effectively engaging with people under court-mandated community supervision. Reporting directly to the Assistant Commissioner of IT, the Director of Information Technology will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across all IT functions within DOP. This role is critical to advancing the agency's mission through secure, resilient, and mission-aligned technology systems. The Director will work closely with executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and citywide IT partners to ensure that DOP's digital infrastructure supports public safety, justice reform, and community engagement.

The Director will oversee four core operational groups within the Office of Information Technology (OIT) :

• OIT Service Desk - Ensuring responsive and high-quality end-user support.
• OIT Desktop Support - Managing endpoint devices, configurations, and user access.
• OIT Applications Support - Supporting enterprise applications and business systems.
• OIT Infrastructure Support - Maintaining network, server, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

Hours / shifts are dependent on the needs of the Department. Candidates may be required to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
