About The Role

The Fetch Product Design team is responsible for the entirety of design within the Fetch app, from user experience design to creative direction and production. Our goal is to deliver a fun experience that our shoppers (and partners) love and can’t live without. Fetch is looking for an experienced Illustrator to join our team. You will be working within the Product Design organization; it is your responsibility to bring delight to the product through illustration, both big and small. We work in a startup atmosphere where individuals take ownership and have a significant impact on the final product.

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Concept and compose engaging character and scene illustrations
• Work in a highly collaborative fashion with the Design and Animation teams, as well as working with Engineers on finalized assets
• Keep files clean, organized, and lightweight : named layers, logical grouping, reduced anchor points, efficient use of gradients, and streamlined paths
• Create assets for product-ready illustrations like badges, hero illustrations, and backgrounds for our characters
• Consider the user experience surrounding the artwork you create
