Digital Readiness Program Lead
Broadband and Digital Inclusion (BDI) is looking for a Digital Readiness Program Lead to join their team. This position will lead initiatives to boost digital readiness through strategic coordination of partnerships and resources. This role strengthens relationships with community-based organizations, expands digital readiness training, and helps align shared resources to make digital services more accessible and equitable. A key part of this position is supporting culturally responsive outreach and engagement in partnership with neighborhood-based organizations throughout Hennepin County.
Location and hours : This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at 625 4th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55415, at community events, and remote as job duties require. Work hours will be primarily Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m. with night and weekend flexibility as needed for community outreach events. Reliable transportation is required. Candidates must be able to work outside of business hours (night, weekend, or holidays) as needed for community outreach events. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.
About the position type : This position is a full-time, benefit-earning position. You must be a current regular or probationary employee of Hennepin County to apply for this position. In this position, you will :
Build and maintain relationships with community-based organizations to align digital navigation program efforts and shared resources.
Facilitate dialogue with residents, digital navigators, and community-based partner organizations to elevate community voice and improve digital service experiences.
Identify and communicate new opportunities for community partnerships, resident services, funding, and volunteer resources.
Conduct inclusive, culturally competent outreach, including planning and conducting meetings and events.
Monitor, record, and report community-based organization program activity progress.
Work with Digital Navigation Supervisor to develop training materials or resources for Navigation team.
Identify areas of improvement and opportunities to effectively deliver digital readiness sessions that meet the needs of residents.
May be assigned to special projects.
