About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Hours per Shift : 36

Experience : 1 year

License : ARRT (MR registered)

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

Basic MR principles and practices.

Use and comfort level with MR safety practices.

Peripheral IV starts with IV contrast injection skills.

Implant workup knowledge.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with Siemens Sola 1.5T and Siemens Skyra 3T scanners is beneficial.

Description :

Perform scheduled MRI exams as offered.

Exams include Neuro, MSK, Body / Abdomen.

Work in a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center.

Handle inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients in need of MRI services.

Maintain a patient ratio of 1 : 1.

Support from department supervisor available.

Charting is done using EPIC.

Weekend rotation will occur once per month.

On-call schedule follows department rotation.

Scrub color is any.
