Position Overview :
Trophy Point Investment Group is seeking a highly organized and experienced Accounting Specialist to manage both Accounts Payable (A / P) and Accounts Receivable (A / R) functions across multiple entities. This role requires strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of bookkeeping processes, and the ability to operate independently in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will also have experience supervising or mentoring junior team members and be comfortable supporting cross-functional accounting operations in a dynamic private lending environment.
Key Responsibilities : Accounts Payable :
Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure proper documentation in QuickBooks Online (QBO)Manage payment schedules and process timely disbursements via ACH, wire, and checksReconcile A / P ledgers and research discrepanciesMaintain vendor records, including W-9 collection and complianceGenerate A / P reports for management and assist with cash flow planningAccounts Receivable :
Create and issue client and borrower invoices accurately and on timeTrack incoming payments and ensure correct application within QBOFollow up on outstanding balances and maintain the A / R aging scheduleWork collaboratively with the loan servicing team to align collections with borrower accountsProvide weekly updates on A / R performance and reporting metricsCross-Functional & Supervisory Support :
Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Controller to support monthly close and reconciliationParticipate in internal audits and ensure all A / P and A / R documentation is complete and accurateAssist with the onboarding and oversight of project-based or junior bookkeepersSupport SOP development and standardization of accounting processesContribute to accurate intercompany transaction managementQualifications :
Industry experience (Lending or Real Estate) a MUST5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience, including A / P and A / RProven ability to manage financial data across multiple entitiesSupervisory or mentorship experience preferredStrong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Excel or Google SheetsKnowledge of real estate lending or mortgage servicing a plusExcellent organizational and communication skillsStrong integrity and ability to manage sensitive financial informationU.S.-based (remote work environment)Why Join Trophy Point?
