Lightspeed Restoration of Pleasant Hill is a NEW community focused, family-owned and operated business in the Pleasant Hill / Concord area. We strive to provide thorough and high-quality remediation services for water, fire, mold, and air quality issues as they arise for customers within the Contra Costa County area. Overview of the Position

We are hiring a Water and Mold Remediation Technician looking for career growth and to make a difference in the Contra Costa community. The main goal of this position is to assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company's obligations to deliver water mitigation and restoration services. This position would report to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High school diploma (or GED).

Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.

Basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.

Active driver\'s license in good standing

Working Conditions

The work of this position is predominantly carried out on the customer's property. Customer property will primarily be located in Contra Costa County but could be occasionally throughout the Bay Area. The employee will encounter facilities where standing water and sewage are present, heat is unavailable due to lack of utilities, fire damage has occurred, and mold or other organic growth exists. Daily exposure to the shop where vehicles and equipment are housed and maintained is typical.
