The Global Strategy team with IBM Consulting is made up of strategic thinkers, business problem solvers, and business impact creators from top tier MBA programs who assist the IBM Consulting senior leaders in growing the business. We lead by example and operate as a highly connected and best leveraged strategy team. We work on high profile initiatives that are critical to the senior leadership team of IBM Consulting, Growth Platforms, Service Lines, Geographies, and Practices.We prefer candidates based around NYC, but not a must.

Your role and responsibilities

The role is focused on global strategy development, comprising business and data analysis, and senior level stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in strategy projects important to IBM Consulting's growth for the C-Suite of IBM Consulting. The individual will be part of a project team to provide analytical support for strategy and advice across different initiatives and programs, develop pragmatic solutions for the challenges facing the IBM Consulting leadership team, and promote the implementation of strategic recommendations. This role involves core consulting skills such as collecting data, analyzing with quantitative and qualitative models, developing oral and written communication visuals.

• Highly motivated and a self-driven problem solver with structured thinking capabilities
• Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Technology, and an MBA from top-tier programs
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• 2-3+ years of business consulting experience or equivalent professional experience with professional problem-solving
• Experience with quantitative, analytical modeling, industry research and competitor analysis.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.

This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you.
