Fabricator II, HVAC Sheet Metal Shop

Description :

We are seeking a seasoned, driven Fabricator II with a solid foundation in fabrication techniques and TIG Welding to join our shop team. The ideal individual will assist the Shop Supervisor with the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal ductwork and HVAC system components and have the ability to handle more advanced tasks independently. This role involves physical labor, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to safety and quality standards on residential and commercial job sites.

Key Responsibilities :

• Sheet Metal Layout & Forming

layout patterns using both manual and CNC methods

use measuring tape, calipers, micrometers, protractors, and other measuring tools to check accuracy

operate tools and heavy equipment to measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal ductwork and related components including using TIG welding techniques

follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

perform general labor and support tasks as directed by the Shop Supervisor, maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas
