General Labor Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

Lift materials

Complete all assigned tasks in a quickly and safely

Driving around Lea County picking up illegal dump sites, picking up deceased animals, recyclables, cardboard, and other materials.

Walking 1 / 2 mile to o one mile bagging trash.

Working in a crew of three

Going around Lea County picking up trash from illegal dump sites.

Picking up deceased animals, cardboard, recyclables and other materials (from local businesses)

Spray washing scales

Helping at main recycling center

Working in different types of weather.

Other Duties will apply

General Labor Shift Info

Day Shift, 08 : 00 am to 05 : 00 pm - $12 / hr

Monday- Friday

General Labor Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds

Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels

Positive attitude and work ethic

Able to work independently or as an active member of a team

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
