Job Description

Step into the Yard Where Trains Take Shape

It’s daybreak in Lexington, North Carolina. You run your pre-use checks, scan a blueprint, and coordinate a move across the yard. Within minutes, a passenger coach cues up for loading, and you’re orchestrating the rigging plan that gets it safely onto a flatcar. At Siemens Mobility’s Rolling Stock Division—North America’s leader in passenger coaches, locomotives, and light rail—this is where your skills power the next generation of rail.

For more than 160 years, Siemens has helped build the backbone of American infrastructure. Today, our teams advance rail automation and digitalization to boost safety, punctuality, reliability, and sustainability—while driving down costs for mass transit and freight systems.
