As a Security Guard - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Medina, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a dynamic healthcare location. You will engage with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position is a driving post and will require you to meet AU driver policy requirements. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, incidents, or potential hazards in a timely manner to relevant personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter inappropriate behavior and provide reassurance to those at the location.
  • Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address concerns or provide assistance as needed.
  • Follow all Allied Universal guidelines, procedures, and training while performing assigned duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Hospital employees are required to be vaccinated in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
