We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Manager, Quality Assurance Compliance supporting the U.S. MTO Warehouse Team in Fort Worth, TX, a typical day will include :
Leading a team managing Quality Systems, Complaints, and Supplier Quality Management processes to ensure compliance with cGMP, Health Authority, and ISO standards.
Facilitating the implementation of the Quality Strategy and supporting governance processes.
Identifying opportunities for improved process efficiencies and implementing changes.
Advising on policy, conducting training sessions, and managing quality systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
Making operational decisions for your team, requiring leadership, time management, communication, and team coordination.
Ensuring all associates adhere to Good Practice regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and completing required training.
Encouraging associates to meet individual job requirements and contribute to overall organizational compliance, upholding regulatory requirements and committing to continuous improvement in operations.

Providing exemplary leadership through higher-level involvement in daily department operations, participating in and being a leader of larger, cross-functional complex projects, and able to work with higher management in the deployment of corporate decisions, which can require an expanded level of authority.

Ensuring the organization has appropriate succession and associate development plans.
Ensuring the organization is staffed with well-qualified, trained, and forward-focused individuals.
Leading and developing best-in-class quality practices for Distribution Centers to ensure consistency in approach and support of controls for auditable processes.
Leading the best practices assessment, definition, and deployment within Alcon as guided by Alcon Financial Controls Matrix (AFCM).
Providing oversight of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) including regular maintenance and testing.
Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
Overseeing and analyzing data trending, and productivity improvement projects, and providing critical business insights.
Monitoring and trending training to ensure compliance and achievement of KPI targets.
Developing work instructions, maintaining and updating procedures, and creating training programs.
Enhancing ways of working to ensure compliance and effective training across multiple sites.
Overseeing the review / approval of Validation and engineering documentation and change control processes.
Managing and trending the customer complaint handling and reporting activities.
Acting as primary point of contact for all internal and external audits or audit-related activities, including cross-functional communication required to resolve corrective or preventive actions.
Coordinating all required documentation and interviews between auditors and internal personnel as necessary.
Supporting inventory requirements by ensuring that staff members adhere to standard lead times for the completion of all lot disposition activities.
Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, maintaining audit readiness at all facilities.
Providing a safe working environment for associates, contractors, and visitors.
Monitoring, reviewing, and enhancing corrective and preventive maintenance plans for equipment.
Directing and monitoring business activities to ensure alignment with the business plan.
Supporting the implementation and development of Distribution Operations Strategic initiatives.
What You'll Bring To Alcon :
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+1 yr)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
