Warehouse Associate

Location : Pewaukee

Pay Rate : $18.00-$22 per / hour(BOE)

Shift : 7 : 00am - 7 : 30am or3 : 30-4 : 00pm(Overtime would be as needed depending on workload.)

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in our operations by handling a variety of tasks from receiving and sorting to shipping and inventory management. Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate will perform various activities such as receiving, sorting, loading, unloading, and shipping products. You'll organize stock, maintain inventory, and ensure orders are processed and packed accurately. Keen attention to detail is a must to succeed in this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and checking in products.

Sort and place products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to bin codes or other organizational systems.

Pull customer orders from stock accurately based on purchase orders and / or shipping tickets.

Pack and prepare orders for shipping using common carriers and verify packing lists.

Record received or distributed items in a computerized inventory control system.

Conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

Operate warehouse equipment such as a forklift and pallet movers as needed.

Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret documents like purchase orders, shipping manifests, and packing lists.

• Keen attention to detail is an absolute must.

Basic computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Knowledge of warehouse activities and inventory control is a plus.

Experience with multi-carrier shipping systems is a plus

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, or a combination of relevant experience and training.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role in a medium-work warehouse environment.

Must be able to frequently move about the warehouse, including climbing, standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, and stooping.

Ability to lift and move up to 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
