As a Support Partner you will be providing direct support in partnership with people with disabilities, on a one-to-one basis, in their own homes and communities. Services include direct support in the form of community involvement and / or accommodation with all activities of daily living including personal care, communication, transportation and inclusive social and recreational activities.

We are currently seeking a part-time Support Partner (DSP) to work with a gentleman living in Lansdowne, PA.

SCHEDULE : 24 hours per week

Monday : 12AM - 12PM

Friday : 12PM - 12AM

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping individuals with disabilities to live a life of their choosing, and good interpersonal and leadership skills. The main purpose of this role is to assist him in living a self-determined life. As a Support Partner you will provide direct support to him in his own home and community. You will provide oversight of medical documentation, setting up appointments and personal finances. This person loves to be out and about in the community; he requires someone who has experience supporting non-verbal persons. He also loves the ocean and swimming!

The ideal candidate will have a calm personality and energetic approach to supporting a person with a unique combination of needs. The ideal candidate will be motivational in their approach to guiding and assisting this person to live a full and meaningful life.
