Job Title : Foreign Communication Specialist
About the Role
As a specialist in foreign communications, you will be responsible for identifying, categorizing, and translating foreign language communications. This involves operating and overseeing signals equipment used in signals intelligence operations.
You will work closely with other team members to conduct military briefings and provide critical information to relevant authorities.
This role is crucial to national defense as it relies heavily on gathering information from foreign languages.
Requirements
Be a U.S. Citizen
Be between 17 and 34 years old
Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
Meet tattoo guidelines
No major law violations
No medical concerns

85+ score on the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) (active duty only)
101 ASVAB Score : Skilled Technical (ST)
36-64 weeks of education at the Defense Foreign Language Institute required if Soldier is not fluent in a foreign language
