Foreside is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Foreman with strong carpentry and foreman experience to help keep our facilities safe, functional, and looking great. This hands-on role involves a wide range of building maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on carpentry, minor repairs, and general upkeep. Compensation : $30 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, flooring, gutter work, and minor plumbing and electrical work
- Prioritize and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Complete apartment unit turnovers, ensuring there are no life safety issues
- Inspect windows, doors, walls, and floors for damage and carry out necessary repairs
- Build, install, or repair wood structures such as cabinets, framing, partitions, and doors
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems to reduce downtime and safety risks
- Load and unload tools and materials as needed for maintenance projects
- Record maintenance work performed and track service intervals
- Assist with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting as needed
- Follow health and safety regulations and ensure work areas are kept clean and secure
- Communicate professionally with tenants, customers, and coworkers to address service needs
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of general maintenance experience, with demonstrated carpentry skills, Foreman experience a plusFamiliarity with maintenance tools, procedures, and safety guidelinesExperience with drywall, flooring, painting, basic plumbing, and basic electrical systemsAble to read blueprints or technical diagrams is a plusHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordMust have own hand toolsPhysically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing manual laborStrong time management, communication, and customer service skillsSelf-starter who works well independently and as part of a teamAbout Company
