We are looking for an experienced Recertification Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with Section 8 housing certifications while providing exceptional administrative support. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic real estate and property management environment.
Responsibilities :
- Review and verify Section 8 housing certifications to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with tenants and stakeholders to address inquiries and provide necessary information.
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy to maintain housing records and documentation.
- Manage email correspondence related to housing certifications and tenant inquiries.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule appointments and follow up on recertification processes.
- Coordinate and organize schedules for recertification meetings and tenant consultations.
- Provide customer service support to tenants, addressing concerns and guiding them through the recertification process.
- Collaborate with leasing consultants to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of recertifications.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
- At least 1 year of experience in property management, specifically with Section 8 housing.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with tenants and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with housing management systems.
- Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
- Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Background in leasing or real estate is highly desirable.
- Exceptional customer service skills to address tenant needs and resolve issues.
