Brief Description
The PUPI Line Lead is responsible for directing the daily flow of all aspects of the PUPI line, to include, but not limited to accurate drilling and cutting of beams, bushing placement, foam filling, cross arm cleanup, hardware mounting and assembly, and palletizing. In addition to overseeing the line, this person will be accountable for inventory, cycle counting and quality and accuracy of outgoing orders. Will also help in any other area of the plant as needed.
The sign-on bonus is only available for PUPI Night, PUPI Weekend Days, and PUPI Weekend Nights. If you are applying for PUPI Days, you will not receive the bonus.

Essential Functions
Responsible for daily supervision of the assigned PUPI lineResponsible for PUPI inventory accuracy of all component itemsAssists with department cycle countsResponsible for PUPI product quality and accuracy of outgoing ordersActively participates in department process improvement and efficiencyMakes all necessary PUPI products that work orders call out in a timely mannerAssembles and packages product for shipment according to company standardsKeeps the workstation and surrounding area clean and orderlyRecords necessary information on the work orders and turns them in dailyCoordinates the material from the warehouse to the PUPI areaResponsible for proper and thorough training for new employeesActs as a champion for safety by demonstrating and ensuring that all safety rules are being followedProvides input to department Supervisor / Manager for employee Performance ReviewsReports to work prepared and on timeSupports the Mission of the organization and adheres to all company policies.Performs other duties as directedKnowledge, Skills And Abilities
Previous supervision and scheduling experience preferredAbility to properly prioritize and pay close attention to detailsAble to read and write the English languageMechanically inclined and able to read a tape measureAble to work and lead with minimal supervisionExcellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem solving skills are essentialStrong emphasis on quality, productivity, communication, and safetyThe wage range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00. Final offers may vary based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
Physical Work Conditions : Position is located on the production floor, standing for up to 12 hours a day. Work with or around power tools, loud equipment and chemicals. Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
