The Health Analytics Consultant provides essential strategic advice and services, focusing on analyzing health plan performance. This role supports UnitedHealth Group's commitment to being a trusted advisor and choice carrier in the healthcare marketplace.

What You'll Do :

  • Work as part of a strategic team dedicated to complex employer groups within local markets.
  • Create insightful, client-specific content for various engagements, ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • Present findings and insights during client engagements, tailored to the needs of the audience.
  • Utilize data to tell compelling stories and extract actionable insights from reports.
  • Employ various data navigation tools to support your insights effectively.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of client solutions to provide targeted assistance.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize outcomes for clients.
  • Give constructive feedback to colleagues, aiding their career development and growth.
  • Act as a strategic analytic expert within the broader Account Management Team.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally as a former subject matter expert.

What We Need From You :

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 2 years in a customer-facing role, ideally in sales, account management, or consulting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare cost and quality topics, as well as emerging industry trends.
  • Intermediate or higher skills in Office 365 applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly when addressing director-level audiences or above.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required by client needs.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in data analytics, data science, statistics, or underwriting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with successful experience in virtual presentations.
