About the Role :

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support to individuals with behavioral challenges at our Bivens and Ridge Road Centers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct therapy to clients, collect data, assist in the development of treatment plans and classroom management. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of client progress and communicating with families and other team members.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Registered Behavior Technician from Behavior Analysis Certification Board
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to successfully pass BCI / FBI and Child Abuse background check

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood intervention, education, or related field
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
  • First Aid / CPR
  • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
  • Responsibilities :

  • Utilize behavior interventions to assist individual children experiencing behavior challenges in the school age / early learning classrooms
  • Collaborate with teachers and other center staff to develop behavior action plans to address challenging behavior in the classroom
  • Assist in training staff in evidence based, behavior interventions to utilize with children in the classroom through modeling and discussions with classroom teachers
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate with families and other team members
  • Work with staff to develop adaptations and accommodations to lesson plans for all children in the classroom
  • Skills :

    As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will use your skills in behavior analysis, data collection and analysis, and communication on a daily basis. You will work closely with clients and their families, as well as other members of the therapy team, to provide the best possible care and support. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will be essential to your success in this role.
