Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current CCC certification and Ohio SLP licensure is needed for an elementary school setting in Mansfield, OH. This is a full-time, contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through fourth grade.

Location : Mansfield, OH 44906

Duration & Hours : This contract role covers the next school year with a 37.5-hour workweek.

Responsibilities include :

  • Providing direct speech therapy to K-4 students with varied communication needs.
  • Conducting student assessments and testing to determine individual speech and language abilities.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with educators and families.
  • Delivering indirect services and support as determined by caseload requirements.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Valid Ohio SLP license required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting preferred.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive speech assessments and provide effective therapy interventions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
