Summary :
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workforce Management (WFM) Specialist to lead our scheduling efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire scheduling process, ensuring that staffing levels are optimized to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our clients.
You will act as a strategic partner to both leadership and our clinical staff, engaging directly with nurses to create schedules that meet both business demands and individual needs. You will play a key role in the onboarding process for new hires and will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date scheduling resources. The ideal candidate will focus on balancing operational efficiency with employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor real-time performance and historical data to develop and recommend strategic scheduling adjustments needed to consistently meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with HR and recruiting to align hiring pipelines with forecasted demand to ensure optimal staffing for future needs.
- Meet directly with nurses to collaboratively adjust schedules, ensuring the final schedule works for both the individual and the company's needs.
- Participate in the interview process to assess needs and work with new hires to develop and assign their initial schedule.
- Oversee the creation and management of all employee schedules, and monitor schedule adherence and real-time performance to address any variances.
- Coordinate closely with operations and leadership teams to ensure proper staffing coverage across all shifts and to plan for seasonal trends or special events.
- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and recommend process enhancements to the team.
- Maintain and keep the scheduling guide up-to-date to be sent to applicants in advance of their schedule selection.
Qualifications :
2+ years of experience in workforce management, scheduling, or a related operations role.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team and engage with stakeholders at all levels.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related experienceProficiency with Verint workforce management and scheduling tools. Similar system experience with platforms like NICE or Calabrio.Experience in a contact center or healthcare scheduling environment.Part-Time Benefits :
