Construction Project Manager

Manages the entire project life cycle of construction projects in the Construction Services department and is specifically responsible for ensuring all projects are successfully completed safely, efficiently, on-time and within budget. Responsibilities include : initiating and managing the project, establishing the constructible scope, executing and tracking the construction progress and being the primary point-of-contact for key stakeholders. Expectations include the Construction Project Management to lead each assigned project and meet all the specified requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee all phases : initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Develop scope, schedule, budget, and risk plans
  • Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders
  • Manage materials, labor, and quality assurance throughout the project
  • Track progress, control costs, and implement changes as needed
  • Ensure safe, high-quality construction aligned with company standards
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
  • Support cost estimating, permitting, and land services
  • Oversee invoice processing and maintain strong team relationships

Required Qualifications For Position

  • Bachelor's Degree In Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent degree from an accredited institution with demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of project management with experience leading projects
  • Demonstrated skill in utilizing cost / benefit analysis with quantitative and / or qualitative data to recommend best option / choice / alternative
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with process improvement methodologies e.g. TQM, Continuous Improvement, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various individuals and functions across the organization
  • Demonstrated strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of gas system design and operations including gas flow, construction, contracts and emergency response.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal operating codes
  • Strong knowledge of policies, procedures, and standards pertaining to the design, construction, maintenance and repair of gas facilities, inclusive of environmental and safety policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of capital budgets and working knowledge of O&M budgets
  • Proficiency with personal computers
  • Working knowledge of operations support systems, i.e. WMS, etc.
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Upon Hire
  • Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position

  • 4-6 years of experience working with pipeline contractors or equivalent
  • Project Specialist / Construction Inspection / Welding experience
  • Work Authorization

  • : $93,800.00 - $140,700.00
