Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Work with the supervising OT to develop and carry out individualized treatment plans.
Lead patients through therapeutic exercises, activities, and tasks designed to improve their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
Track patient progress, note changes in abilities, and report these findings to the occupational therapist.
Instruct patients and their family members on the treatment plan, the purpose of activities, and strategies to maintain wellness.
Complete and maintain accurate and timely records of all patient treatments and progress.
Work with the OT and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Ensure the treatment area is clean, organized, and adheres to all safety and infection control protocols.
Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
Current and valid OTA license to practice in applicable state(s)
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $98000.00 / yr.
Benefits : Will receive paychecks on a biweekly basis. They will accrue PTO every pay period (26 pay periods / year). This equates to a total accrual of 152 hours (19 days). They will receive 8 paid holidays + 2 floating holidays.
This is a fully onsite position in Des Moines, IA.
