The Engineering Operations Manager role is to lead ongoing facility activities, oversee vendors, and overall responsibility for the operational integrity and reliability of the engineering infrastructure for the assigned facilities. The ideal candidate requires strong customer-service instincts; outgoing, friendly, and collaborative.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices, timely completion of training, and promoting best practices to enhance safe behavior.

Oversee the implementation of approved initiatives and programs by managing and coordinating the efforts of the property team (e.g., vendors, contractors, and facility employees).

Maintain interface with third party vendors, ensuring total contract compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and assure resolution of issues.

Responsible for the generation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP), while maintaining a library of these documents with annual review and revisions, as needed.

Interacts with the client, JLL Team members, suppliers / consultants and / or vendors on facilities and property matters.

Oversee / manage projects and initiatives to improve Facilities operations and service delivery.

Ensures resources are allocated appropriately and Work Orders are completed in a timely manner.

Complies with JLL policy for procurement of facilities services and goods.

Ensure all regulatory compliance in place with local jurisdictions as required.

Will have planning and oversight responsibilities for any maintenance shutdowns of each facility, coordinating site personnel, vendors and third-party contractors.

Ensures that a high quality of housekeeping, of all technical / mechanical spaces, is maintained.

Inspects facilities and equipment to determine extent of service and equipment required.

Recommends, justifies, develops and coordinates projects in conjunction with the client's needs and requirements.

Utilize data to develop trends and insights that will drive continuous improvement in the site performance.

Manages or assists with other activities as delegated

Willing to travel.

Qualifications :

5 -7 years' experience in facilities or the trades preferred.

Must have the ability to always maintain professionalism under stressful situations.

Must be able to work on highly complex problems in a variety of situations where analysis is required. Solve problems using considerable and rational judgement, leading to routine and specific recommendations.

Experience in CMMS / work order platforms.

Familiarity with HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical processes and troubleshooting. (Chillers, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Air Conditioning, Pumps, Generators, UPS etc.)

Strategic thinker with strong implementation skills.

Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision.

Excellent presentation skills.

Salary Range : 132K - $157K

Estimated compensation for this position :

132,000.00 - 157,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
