Opportunity : CT Technologist - CT Tech Job Details : - Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards - Produce emergent and routine diagnostic images with fixed and portable X-ray equipment - Produce routine and emergent diagnostic images with CT Room - Adjust exposure settings for proper image acquisition - Adjust patient positioning to acquire optimal images based on anatomical structures - Adjust table and radiation beam to minimize radiation exposure following ALARA principles - Process images in PACS for radiologist review - Complete exams per radiologist protocols - Document, charge, and process with electronic medical records - Schedule patients for appointments in X-ray, CT, MRI, US, DXA, and Holter Monitor - Inform and assist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams - Participate in quality control concerning equipment, radiation safety, and patient safety - Ensure exams are completed in timely and correct manner - Provide customer service to patients and staff - Rotation of call and weekends required - Required credential : R.T.(R)(ARRT) - Preferred experience : 1 year experience working as a CT technologist - Must demonstrate adequate working knowledge of radiographic procedures, radiation physics, and human anatomy and physiology Facility : This healthcare facility provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services including CT, X-ray, MRI, ultrasound, DXA, and Holter monitoring.
