job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Assist with visitor management and provide directions or information as needed in a professional and courteous manner. Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to support access control and emergency response activities. Maintain a visible security-related presence to help to deter potential issues and promote a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Description
As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrol in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, controlling access points, and providing a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and offering excellent customer service and communication to everyone onsite. Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
