Title : Analytical Laboratory Technician

Position Type : 1 year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need

Job Location : Wilmington, DE

Shift : 1st Shift

Compensation : $33.75 / HR

Responsibilities :

The Analytical Technologist will support the Analytical Sciences Laboratories located in Wilmington, DE. Working under the direction of technical staff, the candidate will provide analytical support for R&D, TS&D, and Manufacturing as needed.

Key responsibilities include : Preparing samples, reagents, and standards for analysis following standard procedures.

Acquiring and assessing basic data quality for : X-ray diffraction (XRD)

X-ray tomography

Electron microscopy

Particle and energetics measurements (e.g., particle size, density, contact angle, surface tension, surface area)

Performing routine instrument operation.

Disposing of lab waste in accordance with established protocols.

Cleaning and restocking laboratory areas as needed.

Qualifications : B.S. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or Engineering — or equivalent knowledge gained through on-the-job training.

Proficiency in sample preparation, safe chemical handling, and use of standard laboratory equipment.

Strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively under tight timelines and shifting priorities.
