Two year college preferred or related health field experience, required;Licensure / Certification : Registered Polysomnographic Technologist. Registered with NC Medical Board. Education : High School Diploma or GED, required.Experience : Minimum of two years of experience in a sleep center, required.Licensure / certification / registration : Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, required.Additional skills required : Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills, medical terminology, previous experience with computers, manual dexterity and the capacity to deal with visual concepts; initiative and judgment to proceed with work without constant supervision; high degree of patience and understanding in dealing with unusual situations; ability to work flexible nighttime schedule; basic ECG recognition; general understanding of the concepts of polysomnography.Responsibilities :
