Job Title :   Maintenance Mechanic Sr.

Shift Hours :   6 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m. (plus OT)

Location :   South Bay

Pay :   Up to $30.00 (depending on experience)  /   Job Class :  Temp-to-Hire

Description :   Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, pneumatic tools, production machines, building / facility, as well as preventative maintenance and emergency response by performing the following duties

  • Make replacements, adjustments, inspections, trouble shoot, and preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment
  • General mechanical maintenance, on various mechanical equipment such as, cranes, hoist, hydraulic systems, vacuum pumps, and basic vehicle repairs
  • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts and examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections

Required

  • 10 years’ experience in machine tool field
  • Must demonstrate common sense and possess mechanical aptitude and abilities  Experience / Training / Education / Certification in hydraulics, ability to read schematics, hydraulic and electrical
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • Pass background and drug screen
