General Description

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients? As a Clinical Coordinator , you will play a vital role in our healthcare team. Under the guidance of the Director / Nurse Manager / Administrative Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our nursing care meets the highest standards for all ages. Your leadership will facilitate assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Team : Facilitate the RN as Coordinator of Care and guide the multidisciplinary team, ensuring a professional and confidential environment.
• Evaluate Care Delivery : Monitor patient satisfaction and collaborate with staff to resolve issues, documenting variance reports as needed.
• Enhance Communication : Foster effective communication among co-workers, physicians, patients, and families, utilizing the SBAR format for handoff reports.
• Manage Scheduling : Create monthly schedules and adjust daily staffing to cover call-ins and shortages, ensuring smooth operations.
• Lead by Example : Retain competency as a team leader and participate in direct care delivery when necessary.
• Performance Evaluation : Assess designated staff performance and provide constructive feedback and guidance.
• Staff Development : Coordinate staff development initiatives and assist in orienting new team members.
• Unit Coordination : In the absence of the Nurse Manager / Director, oversee unit activities and perform payroll edits as assigned.
• Continuous Improvement : Participate in committees and supervise initiatives aimed at enhancing nursing practices.
• Safety First : Be knowledgeable about fire, disaster, and safety procedures relevant to the work area.
