And we're excited to get to know you and find out what you will bring to this critical nursing role.\n\nYour Everyday\n\nTake the lead : prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all care touchpoints for your patients.\n\nEvaluate vital signs according to standards of care and monitor life support measures such as advanced heart and respiratory technology.\n\nApply knowledge of complex patient conditions including psycho / social needs.\n\nMaintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.\n\nMonitor and engage with your patients, families, and appropriate care team members immediately concerning significant events, patient condition changes, or patient questions and concerns.\n\nPrevent and treat wounds.\n\nMonitor and execute Joint Commission infection control and environment of care requirements.\n\nEnsure continuity of care, efficient throughput, consistent communications, and an exceptional experience for every patient.\n\nCollaborate and consult with nursing supervisor Collaborates to identify and meet the overall needs of patient care or when unable to complete assignments or perform tasks promptly, effectively, or safely.\n\nInitiate patient and family education using appropriate resources and continuum of care services.\n\nContribute to the team by assisting others without being asked.\n\nThe Must-Haves\n\nMinimum : \n\nCurrent nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.\n\nCurrent American Heart Association BLS certification.\n\nCurrent ACLS and PALs.\n\nWORK SHIFT : \n\nVariable Hours (United States of America)\n\nLCMC Health is a community.\n\nOur people make health happen.
