job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCollaborate with Contractors, Construction Management, and the Owner Develop Scopes of Work (SOW) for contracts in coordination with the Project Team Assist in preparing bid documents and issuing RFP packages Manage communication with bidders and conduct Pre-Bid Meetings Analyze bids and make recommendations Ensure all contractor mobilization and onboarding documentation is complete Conduct Contract Kick-Off Meetings Maintain organized records of all RFP and contract documents Coordinate weekly contractor meetings and monitor performance Review and process contractor change requests and invoices Lead contract turnover and close-out procedures
RICHARD is currently looking for a Field Contracts Administrator Specialist for a project in Destrehan, Louisiana. Work will be performed at the Destrehan job site. The Contracts Administrator Specialist will be responsible for "cradle-to-grave" contract formation and administration, including issuance and administration of Request For Proposals (RFPs), managing contract change requests, review and approval of change orders, and contract invoicing through close-out.
Job Requirements
Must Haves :
- Extensive experience in contract / subcontract administration within heavy industrial construction
- Experience developing scopes of work, assembling bid documents for RFPs, communicating with bidders, and managing subcontractors
- Ability to interpret complex commercial, legal, and construction contracts
- Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to perform in a construction environment, including job walks and communication with contractors and field teams
