Description
We are seeking a FULLY CERTIFIED, compassionate and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavioral plans and strategies to support the child's skill development and behavioral reduction goals
- Conduct daily sessions with the child, focusing on skill-building, socialization, and behavioral support
- Collect and record data on the child's progress, communicating regularly with the supervising BCBA
- Collaborate with the child's family and other support staff to ensure consistency and generalization of skills
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for the child
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificationHigh school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education) preferredExperience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilitiesStrong understanding of ABA principles and practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable transportation to and from the family's homeBenefits
