Senior Product Manager, Creator Platform

Rockstar Games is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive key product initiatives across our Creator Platforms, which includes FiveM, RedM, and related products. As a member of our team, you will bring a critical and creative eye to identify and propose innovative solutions to complex problems. You will be responsible for cultivating and executing a clear vision for our platforms, while collaborating with a wide array of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.

WHAT WE DO

The Creator Platform team delivers a technology platform that enables players to experience community-created content on fully customized dedicated servers, where creators can develop their own game modes and other modifications in a variety of scripting languages.

We create technology, tools, and solutions to enhance the creator experience and empower our community to create and share any experience imaginable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the convergence of product, strategy, and game development, ensuring that the product strategy is well-crafted and clearly understood and embraced across the Creator Platform team.

Drive the end-to-end product process of our platform teams who lead monetization, experience discovery, matchmaking, social, customer experience, and viewership.

Act as a bridge between creators and gamers, fostering seamless connections that enhance both the creator experience and player engagement.

Create detailed business and product requirements that are used to guide design and technical specifications in collaboration with technical teams.

Spearhead the end-to-end process of data design to analysis and insight in order to define measurable feature and initiative goals and inform new products, features, and improvements.

Drive implementation of improvements to existing commerce / payments stack based on defined requirements.

Experiment and iterate with new business models to grow existing businesses and explore opportunities for future products.

Support product lens on ongoing expansion of Rockstar video platform strategy, including products / features tailored to the Rockstar / GTA RP viewership.

Develop product-focused lens on emerging trends in UGC, gaming, technology that can be applied to ongoing strategy, and acquisition / partnership opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years of product management, management consulting, or strategy experience in technology.

1+ years' experience of driving product monetization.

Experience working in the gaming industry is essential.

Experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.

Experience working on technical projects through inception, design, and implementation.

SKILLS

Strong communication skills and proven ability to communicate complex ideas into tangible materials for broad consumption.

Knack for influencing stakeholders across a variety of groups, including publishing, design, technical leadership, and external development partners, without explicit authority.

Ability to work iteratively and respond to changing requirements and evolving stakeholder visions.

Strong desire for improving user experiences through ‘dogfooding’.

PLUSES

Passion for gaming, sandbox games, modding, and user-generated content and the communities that coalesce around them.

Hands-on experience developing game mods and in modding communities.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below

• per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and / or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department / team performance, and market factors.

$102,900 - $152,500 USD
