Manager - Supply Chain Management Optimization

What You'll Do
Join the fast-paced and highly collaborative Sam's Club Integrated Planning Team, where we combine data analytics, strategy, and execution to drive supply chain and supplier optimization.
As a Manager, Optimization, you will serve as the primary partner for a set of DMMs / Categories, helping merchants make informed decisions that improve product flow and reduce costs.
Partner with merchants to define supply chain strategy Design how products flow through the network, including how costs are assigned and charged in internal systems.
Align with suppliers on cost structure setup Ensure accurate charging is configured in systems and aligned with supplier agreements.
Access, improve, and implement key team processes Aid in improving internal team process efficiencies by partnering with key partners.
Conduct costing and comparative analysis Provide insights into projected vs. actual costs and determine best-value options through data-driven evaluations.
Deliver actionable analytics to supply chain teams Support decision-making with robust data, performance metrics, and optimization insights through querying or data visualization tool development.
Review and improve supplier performance Analyze current supplier execution and identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage private brand bid events Review, analyze, and present findings for supplier bidding events in Coupa for Member's Mark products, aiding in strategic business planning.
Troubleshoot order processing issues Investigate and resolve root causes of order failures, ensuring smooth execution across the network.
Enhance tools and data visibility Collaborate with Product Engineering and Business Analytics & Insights to improve analytical tools and ensure stakeholders have access to the right data.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in supply chain (analysis-focused), business analytics, or finance.
Advanced Excel skills, including VBA.
Proficiency in SQL, preferably with Google BigQuery.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving.
Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Preferred : Advanced degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or Finance.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 2 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 4 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area. 2 years' experience with Microsoft Office.
