Carpenters, Concrete Finishers & Crew Leaders

Location :  Madison, WI & Surrounding Areas (Within 40 Miles)

Pay :  $28.00 – $45.00 per hour (based on experience and position)

Schedule :  Monday – Friday | 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (Overtime and weekends as needed)

Start Date :  ASAP - These are long term career opportunities with steady work

Job Overview :

Superior Skilled Trades  is hiring experienced  Carpenters, Concrete Finishers, and Crew Leaders  for a variety of  commercial and residential construction projects  in Madison, WI and the surrounding areas (within a 40-mile radius). These are full-time positions offering strong potential for  long-term, consistent work  based on performance.

Available Positions & Pay Ranges :

Carpenters

Pay Range :  $28.00 – $38.00 / hour

Requirements :

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in framing or formwork carpentry
  • Proficient with layout, measuring, cutting, and reading blueprints
  • Skilled in forming, framing, and supporting concrete work
  • Comfortable working on active residential and commercial job sites
  • Must have reliable transportation and own basic tools

Concrete Finishers

Pay Range :  $28.00 – $35.00 / hour

Requirements :

  • 4–5+ years of hands-on concrete finishing experience
  • At least 2 years operating walk-behind power trowels
  • Skilled in broom finishing, edging, jointing, and bull floating
  • Able to assist with form setting, pouring, and raking
  • Experience on both commercial and residential job sites
  • Must have reliable transportation (up to 40-mile commute from Madison)

    • Crew Leaders (Concrete or Carpentry)

    Pay Range :  $35.00 – $45.00 / hour

    Additional Requirements :

  • Proven leadership experience managing field crews (6 + people)
  • Strong ability to oversee workflow, enforce safety, and ensure quality standards
  • Must meet all qualifications of either Carpenters or Concrete Finishers
  • Valid driver’s license required; may be asked to drive company vehicle

    • Job Responsibilities (All Positions) :

  • Perform skilled construction tasks based on position (carpentry or concrete)
  • Read and follow blueprints, site plans, and specifications
  • Lead or assist in forming, pouring, finishing, or framing activities
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Job requires proper use of PPE at all times : work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
