About The Position

Must-Have :

Level 1 Trauma Experience required.

Call coverage and holiday rotation required.

Description :

The shift for this position is from 09 : 00 to 21 : 30.

Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center is required.

The role involves a fair share of holiday and call coverage.

Preferred experience includes community hospital and trauma level experience.

Proficiency in the charting system Cerner is preferred.

Travel experience is required, but not mandatory.

Candidates must have the following certifications : ACLS and BLS.

Fundamental skills include various surgical procedures such as Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, and others listed in the full job description.

The nursing staff will engage with a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Interdisciplinary support is provided within the unit.

Patients can present with a range of diagnoses, mostly excluding eye and obstetric services.

The role may involve floating to various areas and responsibilities as needed, including serving as a patient observer.

All applicants must be prepared to float to any area as necessary.
