TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Brand new unit opening - schedule will be a mix of 3 / 2 and 5 / 2 blocked schedule. Unit : 6W-MedSurg Tele

Clinical Interviews

Certs Required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Experience Required : 2 years experience. Experience in wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, Hemodialysis Catheter care, Fistulas, PCA, Pain Management.

Traveler will be required to PASS and EKG competency exam as part of compiance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN)

First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff RN acute care experience

Floating : Any Med / Surg area within the hospital, travelers must float first

RN : 1 : 5-6, nights 1 : 6

Patient Types : Sepsis, Cellulitis, DVT / PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, PNA, Post Op Overflow : occasionally we will see Total Joints (Knees, Hips, Shoulders); GI / Abdominal surgeries (Hemicolectomies, Bowel Resection, etc.

This is a brand new Medical Surgical / telemetry unit for this growing facility. There are many educational opportunities available to travelers.
