Job Description

Construction Estimator | Baltimore, MD

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join a growing team in Baltimore. This role offers $90K–$120K base salary, competitive benefits, and emphasizes a strong work / life balance.

Responsibilities :

  • Review project documentation to fully understand requirements
  • Select, measure, and track key metrics
  • Perform site and warehouse visits as needed
  • Conduct complex data analysis and forecasting
  • Prepare risk assessments and present reports to leadership
  • Evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals
  • Manage subcontractor buyouts post-award
  • Build and maintain long-term vendor relationships

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator
  • Strong preconstruction expertise, with ability to budget from concept or partial plans
  • Hands-on experience with data research, analysis, and KPIs
  • Proficiency in Timberline, ProContractor by Viewpoint, RS Means, and on-screen takeoff software
  • Strong understanding of federal solicitations, with ability to produce both technical and pricing responses to RFPs
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Science, or related field
