Sanitation Associate

The Pictsweet Company is growing! A 4th generation family owned company established in 1945. Pictsweet is a frozen vegetable producer with agricultural roots. We are recruiting sanitation associates to join our 3rd shift in Clarksville, AR. This facility is a sweet potato processing operation with a night shift sanitation team. This is a safety sensitive position. The role ensures safety systems are in place for operation and production of quality food production products manufactured under clean and safe conditions.

Responsibilities :

Will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of plant equipment and the facility structure (e.g. floors, pipes, overhead pipes, etc.). This position will be required to accurately complete daily cleaning responsibilities and report findings to the Supervisor.

• Comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
• Company with SDS requirements (proper use of cleaning agents)
• Comply with Pictsweet's personal protective equipment policies
• Ensure cleaning schedule is properly followed
• Complies with lock-out / tag-out policy and ensures equipment meets lock-out / tag-out standards before sanitation work begins
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment per SSOPs Removing waste from the production floor
• All other duties assigned by Manager
