Seeking a business professional with an undergraduate degree in Accounting or an individual with 3–4 years of hands-on accounting experience

Experience with bank reconciliation processes, receivables, and revenue recognition for fee-for-service operations

Prepare daily journal entries related to cash receipts and disbursements

Assist with general accounting month-end and year-end closing processes

Prepare monthly cash reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations with supporting analytics

Review college trial balances to identify irregularities and ensure accuracy in general ledger control accounts

Create reports and presentation materials for University management, colleges, and external partners

Support the Manager of University Revenue through ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects

Research and analyze historical balances, collaborating with other departments or campus accounting teams as needed

Document and improve existing or new business processes within the department

Assist in preparing financial data for the transition to a new ERP system, validating information, ensuring completeness, and escalating issues appropriately

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge or willingness to learn advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Strong analytical, evaluation, and research abilities

Highly organized and able to manage files, priorities, and deadlines efficiently
